Sydney Sweeney is aware of what will make Euphoria fans, well, euphoric.
The Euphoria actress recently shared her expectations for her character Cassie's season three arc after a whirlwind of questionable decisions in season two. After all—spoiler alert—the last time fans saw Cassie in Euphoria, her secret relationship with her best friend's abusive ex boyfriend was messily exposed by Zendaya's Rue, resulting in a major confrontation.
"I know that the fans need her to somehow figure out how to get her s--t together," Cassie exclusively told E! News in an interview airing May 17 at 11 p.m., "but I really hope for a while that I can enjoy crazy Cassie."
As for what she knows about Euphoria's upcoming season three, which won't feature co-star Barbie Ferreira, Sydney has no details yet. She told E! News, "We haven't started filming yet."
In the meantime, Sydney stepped into the role of whistleblower Reality Winner in HBO's Reality, which premieres May 29 on HBO and on Max. She's also graced the screen as Olivia Mossbacher in White Lotus and will appear in Marvel's Madame Web as Spider-Woman. Recently, she wrapped up filming rom-com Anyone But You with Glen Powell.
Though she's portrayed a wide range of characters, Sydney swears she has no favorites.
"I don't think I've ever ranked my characters before—I don't know if I can," she admitted. "That's like having to choose your favorite child, I don't know if I can."
However, there is one genre she's interested in exploring.
"I want to do a period piece of some type," the 25-year-old revealed. "I don't know what kind yet, but some sort of period piece."
